As an advocate of an inclusive hockey community at Essendon and around Victoria, our club is proud to support HV’s Women Round for 2019.

Umpires for all women’s games will be awarding Player of the Match medallions to celebrate and recognise the abilities of female participants in hockey.

On Saturday at Essendon’s homeground, there will be a prize for one lucky winner of a raffle, as well as a selection of baked goods for sale from 2-4pm. All monies raised will be donated to Safe Steps www.safesteps.org.au
Keep an eye out for the assortment of pink decorations around the clubrooms – you may also grab a set of pompoms to cheer on teams!

We encourage all players, coaches and spectators to wear something pink for their games in celebration of women and girls in sport.
